Raptors Acquire New Player & Release Another

Yes, there's more on the offseason front for Toronto. They have traded reserve guard Marco Bellinelli to the New Orleans Hornets for forward Julian Wright. According to Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo, the move "should help balance the roster". However, I'm not keen on this move because Wright apparently used Twitter on New Orleans in much the same way that Bosh had on the Raps. As I said before, if a player leaves his or her team unprofessionally he is to be punished and shunned, not praised. If a player comes to Toronto like this (as Julian Wright has), I will still criticize the player for his actions and refuse him respect. Although I will root for him because he is now a Raptor, I will NOT be pleased with him as a person. Maybe he will prove me wrong and repent. As it stands now, I certainly hope so because this is inexcusable. Anyways, here's the story: Another Wright is Gained by Raptors

For evidence of my dissatisfaction with Julian Wright, this was written on the August 11, 2010 edition of the Raptors offseason blog: "It was around this year's trade deadline that the man nicknamed JuJu took to twitter to voice his concerns about his situation with the Hornets.
