Apparently Jose Calderon will sit out the ongoing World Basketball Championships (this tournament decides who will participate in the Olympics in 2012) and will have to wait until the Raptors first preseason game on October 6 to play in game action. Until then, the Raps have a walking wounded amongst them. He suffered the injury early on in the tournament during a Spanish loss to the United States team.
