Wow, I haven't blogged since the end of JANUARY! The reason is that I just wanted to see what it was like to not blog for almost two months, and I have to say...it's not worth it! It just hasn't been the same in that time period. So, with that out of the way, let me get on to OTHER unmentioned business...
The London Lightning have been rather impressive this season in their new league, the National Basketball League of Canada. They wrapped up first place and then promptly swept the Saint John Mill Rats 3-0 in the first round. Now, in the championship round vs the Halifax Rainmen, they were leading 2-0 until last night. In Halifax, the team turned it over FAR, FAR too many times (ESPECIALLY in their OWN end). It was atrocious and inexcusable and it cost the Lightning the game, 95-93. Now, they have to play again TONIGHT in Halifax. The game starts at 6 PM Eastern. Viewing is available at the Halifax Rainmen's website, which you can find at www.sportstream.ca. Here's the recap.
